- Childrens Drop and Shop on the north shore- consignment sale.
- Children's Orchard Locations all over. Newburyport one gets good reviews, although I have not been myself.
- Frida Bee in Inman Square, some kids clothes.
- Growing Up New in Belmont. We are buying and selling better brands only, like Hanna Andersson, Gap, Janie & Jack and others. Tues-Friday: 9-6 Sat 10-6 Sun 10-3. vacation packages

- The Little Fox A children's resale shop benefiting the Fox Library in Arlington,- please click on the link for specific hours. Donations & volunteers are always needed & appreciated! We are located on the main floor of the Fox Library.
- Mass Moms of Twins has an annual sale for members. Also open to the public.
- Pink Dolly in Arlington, has some kids clothes
- Salvation army and Goodwill - they MAY have stopped taking and selling some children's items, may be better for for mommies now. CALL ahead of time. or let me know if you find out for sure-
- Second time around various locations, some have kids and maternity clothes.
- Toy Cycle Local Yahoo group. Works like Freecycle, only for toys.

Clothing:
- (spring 2010) Goodwill is selling kids clothes again.
- The Garment District in Kendall Square has a kids' clothing section; it's rather small but there appears to be a decent inventory of boys' tuxedoes and you may find the occasional darling vintage item!
Donating used baby items or Receiving Assistance
Where to GIVE them:
- Children's Clothing Exchange in Cambridge. They operate on a credit system where you can pick 10 items for every 10 you drop off. Anyone can participate, or you can just drop off. Clothes, toys and baby items are all accepted.
- Cradles to crayons Mission: To provide, free of charge, low-income and homeless children from birth to pre-teen the basic essentials they need to be safe, warm, ready to learn, and valued. We also set a foundation for lasting change through the meaningful, tangible volunteer opportunities we provide to thousands of youth and adults each year.
- Crittenton Women's Union please see here for specific items they are in need of
- Just-A-Start House (JASH) is an independent living program for pregnant and parenting teenage mothers between the ages of 13 and 20, and their children. Contact Maureen Ward (maureenward at justastart.org or 617-776-8353)
- The COPE program at Somerville High School supports pregnant teenagers as they successfully finish high school nitric oxide. They would love to get some donations of fall/winter maternity clothing and can accept donations during normal school hours at the High School. Contact Jessica Henneman at 617-625-6600 x6156.
